Trois Rivières – Rhum Vieux Agricole – Grande Reserve – Millésime 2000 – Martinique

The nose is elegant, charming, aromatic and quite gourmand. It reveals notes of cooked sugar cane and white grape associated with discreet notes of quenette, apple, slight touches of litchi as well as a discreet hint of oak, spices (cinnamon …) cedar, tobacco, gray pepper and flowers / rose. The palate is fruity, gourmand, elegant, voluptuous, aerial, perfectly balanced and offers a small acid frame, a fine freshness and a good dynamism. In the mouth this Rum expresses notes of quenette, passion fruit, a hint of apple and discreet notes of lime / yuzu associated with slight touches of toasted oak, vanilla, sweet spices, cane sugar as well as a discreet note of caramel, honey and a very discreet hint of pepper. Beautiful length and persistence. Beautiful balance!
