(AB Campagne 2024/2025 100% Sayali) The nose is gracefully aromatic, fruity, gourmand, suave and luminous, offering notes of basil, candied lemon and, more discreetly, courgette confite in oil together with splendid fruity and floral touches, a slight colza character, nuances of artichoke confit and fine hints of quince, whitecurrant, honey, spices and saffron. The palate is well built, elegant, racy, subtle, rounded and unctuous while retaining balance and accuracy, with luminous lift and an overall sense of harmony, showing both brightness and substance. Delicate, well-judged bitters guide the tasting. In the mouth it expresses notes of basil, courgette confite in olive oil, artichoke confit in oil and, more lightly, olive leaf, bay and sage together with slight touches of crunchy pineapple tomato and discreet nuances that are almost honeyed, spicy and apricot toned in the background. The finish offers good length, a delicate, enveloping creaminess and a beautifully handled bitterness. A subtle, almost saffron like note appears in the background and the aftertaste remains soft and delicate.
