Olive oils tasting
Like every wine and spirits lover, we also cultivate a deep passion for gastronomy and the exceptional products that enrich it. Among them, olive oil holds a very special place, as it shares many similarities with wine – even in the sensory experience it offers. Often called liquid gold, olive oil is, just like wine, one of the oldest treasures crafted by humankind.
It can be the result of a subtle blend of different varieties – such as Carolea, Frantoio, Leccino, Peranzana, Biancolilla, Taggiasca, Aglandau, Tanche… – or the pure expression of a single variety, highlighting the authenticity of its terroir. As with wine, concepts like freshness, balance, aromatic intensity and complexity are fundamental. Olive oil reveals a unique sensory palette: ripe fruits, dried fruits, herbal notes, vegetal nuances, bitterness and sweetness, all in delicate harmony.
In many ways, wine and olive oil converge. Both are carriers of culture, tradition and craftsmanship. Exploring, comparing and tasting them remains for us a true and timeless passion.
