On the nose it is fruity and offers intensity as well as a little power and a chewiness. It reveals the notes of blackberry, fleshy cherry, small notes of little wild black berries associated with touches of violet, pepper as well as fine hints of cardamom, redcurrant, fine hint of spices, nutmeg and a very discreet hint of tabaco. On the palate, it is fruity, balanced and offers a juicy/acidulous frame, a good definition, minerality, a nice finesse of the grain, aromatic purity, as well as an airy side and a certain delicacy. The wine expresses notes of bright cassis, cherry, small notes of crunchy raspberry associated with tonka bean and toasted. Good length. the tannins are well built. A fine hint of nice bitterness on the longer/persistence.
