OVID 2010 – Napa Valley

The nose is fruity and offers a beautiful freshness as well as a nice and fine richness. It reveals notes of boysenberry, blackberry and cassis jam associated with fine touches of licorice, mint, sage as well as a hint of cocoa and fine hints of flowers. The mouth is fine, elegant, well-balanced, silky and offers suavity, fat, a nice freshness, a fine richness, a fine minerality, tension and a nice fresh frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, black cherry, cassis, boysenberry and a touch of plum associated with fine hints of raspberry, cocoa as well as a touch of liquorice and a few discreet notes of wood. Tannins are fine and polished. Good length. A beautiful wine!
