The nose is powerful and offers a fine/very discreetly tight grain and intensity. It reveals notes of dry yellow grape, dry lemon, small notes of pot pourri associated wit small touches of dry apple, pepper, fine hints of dry cedrat, tobacco box pepper and an imperceptible hint of black tea. The palate is fruity, suave, racy and offers gourmandize, straightness, a small intensity, a fine deepness, a beautiful finesse of the grain as well as a small incisive/franc side. On the palate this Cognac expresses notes of crystallized quince, vine peach, small notes of crystallized lemon, hints of Zante currant, tobacco, pâtisserie as well as a subtle hint of cedar and vanilla pod. Good length and persistence. A subtle hint of liquorice/pepper in the background/finish.
