Matthias et Emile Roblin – Origine 2015 – Sancerre

The nose is aromatic and offers a fine concentration. It reveals notes of blackberry, wild berries and slight notes of flowers associated with a touch of Sichuan pepper, tobacco and spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a slight minerality, a slight tension, a slight gourmandise, a beautiful matter as well as harmony. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of raspberry, wild strawberry, small notes of wild berries and touches of cassis associated with a slight touch of flowers, tobacco, a hint of toasted oak, zan as well as an imperceptible hint of caramelization (in the background) and an imperceptible hint of salinity (in the background). Tannins are a bit chewy. Good length.
