(Bottled in : 10/2021. 40%) The nose is elegant, racy, spicy and offers controlled power. It reveals notes of dried zest, spices and small notes of rancio associated with small touches of tobacco, roasted almond, a fine hint of rosewood, discreet hints of small fruits / lychee as well as as fine hints of nutmeg and smoke. The palate is elegant, well-balanced and offers power in delicacy, finesse, fullness as well as a small fat. Perfect control of the power. On the palate this Armagnac expresses notes of pâtisseries, Bourbon vanilla, tobacco and small notes of caramelized apple associated with touches of rancio, jammy lychee, small Zante currants as well as fine hints of pepper, sweet spices and toasted almonds. Presence of a subtle hint of tannins and dry oak on the finish. Good length.
