J.Dupont – Art Nouveau – VSOP – Grande Champagne – 1er Cru De Cognac

The nose is fruity, fine, relatively complex and a bit gourmand. It reveals notes of dry yellow grape, vine peach, lemon and hints of white flowers (lemon, apple) associated with slight notes of fruit in syrup, candied orange zest, caramel / de pâtisseries as well as a very discreet note of chocolate and a discreet hint of cedar wood. The palate is fruity, elegant, charming, gourmande, relatively fleshy and offers a good definition and a small fresh frame in the background. In the mouth this Cognac expresses notes of white fruits in syrup (pear, apple) associated with touches of peach in syrup, dry yellow grapes, candied citrus as well as fine touches of cigar, Bourbon vanilla and pâtisserie / caramel. Good length and persistence.
