The nose is fruity, very slightly restrained and offers a fine richness as well as a fine grain. It reveals notes of quince, crushed Mirabelle plum and small notes of caramelized tangerine associated with slight hints of caramelization, dried blond tobacco, slight hints of Sichuan pepper as well as a subtle hint of oak and spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, very slightly tight and offers a juicy / acidulous frame, a fine tension, a good definition, a good guideline as well as a fine freshness. On the palate this Armagnac expresses notes of juicy / ripe lemon, juicy / ripe Mirabelle plum and small notes of kumquat associated with fine touches of caramelized mandarin, pâtisseries, toasted almonds, a subtle hint of chocolate and a discreet hint of caramelization. Good length. A very discreet almost tannic sensation on the persistence / aftertaste.
