Clo’ Clotilde Pain, Sans Froufrou 2022 – Chinon

Clo’ Clotilde Pain, Sans Froufrou 2022 – Chinon

(no added sulphites) The wine has a deep ruby color, with purple reflections. It expresses juiciness, bright fruit and lots of freshness. We find notes of crushed red cherry, morello cherry, wild strawberry, raspberry, crushed blueberry, blackcurrant, as well as a touch of violet, wild rose and a hint of blackcurrant leaf. The palate is juicy, fragrant, fruity and fresh. The tannins are gripping, a little dry, but quite fine and balanced by a crunchy acidity and a juicy fruity substance on the finish. We find flavors of morello cherry, crushed red cherry, blackcurrant, strawberry and raspberry, with a touch of violet and blackcurrant leaf in the background. The finish is chiseled, on the racy tannic structure, moderately persistent. A gourmand and structured wine.
