The nose is elegant, fresh, precise, aromatic and offers deepness as well as complexity. It reveals notes of fleshy/crushed Boysen berry, blueberry and small notes of fleshy/juicy cherry associated with small touches of crushed strawberry, violet, cardamom as well as very fine hints of chocolate, tea, spices, a very discreet hint of liquorice, camphor, a saline minerality, an imperceptible hint of lilac and fresh nutmeg. After decanting, this wine evolves slowly, revealing delicate hints of truffle/undergrowth and toasted almond. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, well-built, racy and offers a juicy/acidulous frame, gourmandize, tension, a very beautiful finesse, a certain power (in finesse), concentration, a very fine creaminess (in finesse) and tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy black blackberry, cherry and small notes of small ripe black fruits associated with small touches of raspberry, strawberry as well as hints of chocolate, tonka bean, cardamom, spices, a discreet hint of clove, fresh lilac, tea and a very discreet hint of grilled hazelnut. Tannins are elegant and delicate. A persistence on 20 caudalies with discreet hints of hazelnut and caramelization.
