Champagne Gosset – Celebris 2004 – Extra Brut

The nose is nicely fresh, fine, elegant, precise, aromatic, fruity and offers a slight gourmandise as well as straightness. It reveals notes of lemon and slight notes of fresh mandarin associated with a discreet hints of zests, subtle vinous hint, quince, mirabelle plum/yellow fruits as well as a discreet hint of apricot, brioche and almond. The palate is fruity, fine, elegant, well-balanced, delicate and offers a beautiful definition, a good volume, fat, a slight acid frame as well as a slight suavity. The effervescence is very fine, elegant, precise, delicate, shining and slightly creamy. In the mouth this Champagne expresses notes of lemon, apple, chalk and slight notes of fresh vine peach, citrus associated with a subtle hint of pear, brioche, juicy/fleshy mandarin, quince as well as an imperceptible vinous hint and a discreet hint of dry fruits/almond. Good length and very beautiful persistence.
