The nose is fruity, elegant, precise, racy, slightly powerful and offers a nice structure as well as a fine concentration. It reveals ripe black berries, Quetsche plum and black cherry combined with hints of wild strawberry / red berries, mocha, cardamom, sweet spices as well as a subtle hint of earth, a very discreet hint of violet (in the background) as well as an imperceptible touch of gray pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, suave, silky, gourmande, straight, precise, nicely built and offers a nice definition, a slight acidity, a very slight unctuosity (in the background), a fine tension, a small juiciness as well as a slight mineral frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy raspberry, fleshy / juicy plum and slight notes of of black cherry associated with a hint of blackberry, hints of spices as well as a subtle hints of Ceylon tea, chocolate, caramelized wood, with a very discreet touch of Bourbon vanilla as well as an imperceptible violet hint (in the background).
