On the nose it is fresh and offers intensity, power as well as a racy texture (limestone). It reveals notes of wild fresh blackcurrant, small bright black berries, small notes of violet associated with touches of blueberry, cherry, cherry stone, as well as delicate hints of saffron, pepper, fine hints of nutmeg and a very discreet hint of toasted almond. On the palate it is fruity, balanced, and offers juiciness, suavity, a good definition, a certain gourmandize as well as a fine acidulous frame, a certain delicacy, good work on the bitters, precision, silky, a nice delicate touch, a very fine/ finely tight. The wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackcurrant, pulpy blackberry, small notes of plum associated with touches of cherry, cherry tails, crunchy raspberry as well as fine hints of fresh tabaco, a subtle hint of mocha and cloves. Good length. the tannins are structuring, racy and firm.
