TH. PETIT Prestige Extra-Brut Millésime 2008

TH. PETIT Prestige Extra-Brut Millésime 2008

We have a nice compact foam with fine bubbles, nice effervescence. The wine has a beautiful bright lemon yellow color. The nose is fresh and fruity, lemony with notes of apple, pineapple and peach. It’s gourmand and full with a little bit of menthol that accompanies a smoky minerality. We also perceive acacia honey, fine cocoa and toasted brioche. The mouth is fine and pleasant with light bubbles. We find a salinity that persists in the mid-palate which is discreet and delicate. The finish is on almond, cherry stone and white cherry. We perceive a little astringency on the finish with slight notes of pineapple, apple, lemon and butter. The whole is evolved and powdery.
