Taylor’s – 1863 Single Harvest Port – Colheita

Taylor’s – 1863 Single Harvest Port – Colheita

The nose is fine, elegant and intense. It reveals notes of dried citrus fruit, molasses and plum associated with fine notes of nougatine, caramel, spices (nutmeg, vanilla …) and cedar wood. The mouth is fat, very aromatic, balanced, gourmand, ample and offers a nice acidity and a nice matter. In the mouth this Porto expresses notes of marmalade, citrus (especially orange, clementine, quince) and slight notes of apricot associated with fine touches of tarte Tatin, walnut, hazelnut, of toasted almond as well as slight notes of fig, plum, clove and mocha on the finish. Good length and persistence.
