The nose is aromatic, elegant and offers depthness as well as gourmandise. The wine needs to be served in carafe. It reveals notes of fleshy raspberry and wild strawberry combined with touches of garrigue / violet as well as hints of caramelization, chocolate, toasted oak, sweet spices and a very discreet hint of toasted almond. The palate is fruity, juicy and offers a fine fleshiness, gourmandise, a beautiful suavity, a fine acid frame, a beautiful juiciness, a beautiful roundness, volume, racy minerality as well as tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy raspberry, Bigarreau cherry and small notes of wild strawberry, small juicy black berries associated with discreet hints of garrigue, chocolate, toasted / caramelized oak, toasted almond as well as a very discreet hint of vanilla. Tannins are well-built. Good length. The finish is finely powerful. Good persistence.
