The nose is fine, elegant, harmonious and offers a very fine concentration and minerality. It reveals notes of fresh wild blackberries, fleshy cassis, and ripe touches of ripe raspberry associated with hints of ripe black berries, licorice, toasted oak as well as a touch of graphite, a hint of Sichuan pepper (in the background), very discreet toasted hints (in the background) as well as a subtle hint of liquorice (in the background) and tonka bean. The palate is fruity, elegant, well-balanced and offers juiciness, a beautiful acidity as well as a mineral frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, juicy cassis and liquorice associated with fine touches of oak, tonka bean, racy minerality as well as discreet hints of flowers (in the background), a subtle hint of hazelnut (in the background) and a very discreet toasted hint on the persistence. Tannins are fine and elegant. Good length. gourmandize and suavity on the finish / persistence.
