Paul Giraud – Millésime 1999 – Cognac Grande Champagne, 1er Cru

The nose is fruity, aromatic and offers a beautiful  nesse as well as power. It reveals notes of dried orange zest, mandarin  owers, dried lemon zest and small notes of dry green apple associated with discreet hints of rancio, cigar as well as a hint of white pepper, peach blossom and saffron. The palate is fruity, well- balanced and offers a beautiful de nition, a beautiful  nesse, suavity as well as a very beautiful  nesse of the grain. In the mouth this Cognac expresses notes of Zante currants, crystallized mandarin orange and small notes of dried orange zest, dried lemon associated with slight hints of  owers as well as very slight hints of coffee and grilled oak. Very beautiful persistence. There are very discreet hints of pâtisseries and toasted almond on the finish. A very beautiful cognac!
