It reveals notes of violet, cornflower, small notes of fresh blackberry associated with a touch of fresh wild cassis, juicy/ripe small berries as well as very fine hints of Cuben pepper, racy minerality and spices. The palate is fresh, fruity, well-balanced and offers a juicy/finely acidulous frame, a good definition as well as gourmandize. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, cassis, small notes of juicy/crunchy raspberry associated with fine touches of flowers (lilac, cornflower) as well as fine hints of chocolate/cocoa, sweet spices and a very discreet hint of caramelization. Tannins are well-built and very finely powdered.
