(40%) The nose is powerful, racy (terroir) and offers a fine grain as well as intensity. It reveals notes of Zante currant, dried kumquat and small notes of tangerine zest associated with small touches of dried white fruits, potpourri, dried rose, dried citron as well as hints of sweet blond tobacco, toffee, discreet hints of gray pepper and a subtle hint of cedar. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, tense, racy and offers freshness, juiciness as well as a small aerial side in the approach. On the palate this Armagnac expresses notes of dried yellow grapes, crystallized quince and small notes of caramelized pear associated with touches of caramel apple, citron, small dried white flowers as well as hints of dried tobacco, pepper, caramelized, a subtle hint of almond and toffee.
