Laurent & Céline Notton, Petit Chablis 2022

Laurent & Céline Notton, Petit Chablis 2022

The wine has a pale lemon-yellow color. The nose is aromatic, fruity and lively. It expresses notes of ripe citrus fruits (ripe lemon, grapefruit), crunchy and tangy stone fruits (apricot, white nectarine), as well as slight notes of lime zest, fresh grass and a hint of minerality, chalk in the background. On the palate, the wine is lively and straightforward, with a certain creaminess on the attack. The flavors are juicy, ripe and at the same time tart: the wine offers notes of ripe lemon, lemon zest, grapefruit, orange peel (in the background), white flowers (acacia), apricot and white peach. Nice acidity, the finish is quite persistent, with roundness, smoothness and a slight bitterness. A pleasant and refreshing wine.
