La Clemence 2017 – Pomerol

La Clemence 2017 – Pomerol

The nose is slightly tight. It reveals notes of cassis, iris and more slightly small ripe berries, crushed blackberry associated with small/fine touches of zan as well as subtle hint of Sichuan pepper and a very discreet hint of flowers. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, precise, straight and offers a good definition, a fine unctuosity, tension as well as a fine suavity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of cassis, blackberry and more slightly crushed strawberry associated with small touches of blue fruits, a subtle hint of cornflower, small touches of chocolate, caramelization as well as a very discreet hint of fresh nut. Tannins are very discreetly firm. Gourmandize on the finish.
