The nose is aromatic, elegant and offers a beautiful finesse, complexity (full of finesse) as well as a certain power (full of justness). It reveals notes of bright casis, small black berries, small notes of sage associated with touches of violet, blackberry, fine hints of bigarreau cherry, thyme flowers, bourbon vanilla as well as discreet hints of Madagascar pepper, a very discreet hint of rose, flowers, hazelnut, incense and subtle hints of sense of the place. The palate is fruity, acidulous, full of delicacy/precision/finesse and offers a beautiful definition, subtility, a fine acidulous frame, a beautiful finesse of the suavity, complexity as well as gourmandize. On the palate this wine expresses notes of griotte cherry, blackberry, small notes of cassis associated with touches of blueberry, crushed redcurrant, black olive as well as hints of toasted, nutmeg, garrigue/sense of the place, fine hints of sage, verbena, saffron, very discreet hints of sweet spices and a subtle hint of pepper. Tannins are precise and elegant. There is a fine hint of bitterness and roasted in the finish/persistence. A beautiful gourmand finish. Good length.
