Domaine de la Galopière 2021 – Aloxe-Corton

Domaine de la Galopière 2021 – Aloxe-Corton

The wine has a pale ruby color. The nose offers pronounced aromas of spices (clove, nutmeg, white pepper) and dried herbs (bay leaf, mint, thyme), combined with notes of wild flowers, cornflower and peony. The fruits on the nose are juicy and fresh: we find notes of raspberry, strawberry, red cherry and red currant, as well as a touch of blueberry. On the palate, the wine is open and gourmand. It expresses notes of aromatic herbs and roasted spices (roasted bouquet garni, toasted cumin seeds), combined with notes of fruit (roasted red cherry, morello cherry, strawberry, crushed blueberry), and a slight touch of roasted meat and smoke. The tannins offer power and a firm, but supple texture. The finish is persistent, fruity and gourmand, with a nice freshness and good acidity.
