Damilano –  Barolo DOCG 2017 Cannubi

The nose is aromatic and offers concentration (in finesse), a certain mastered richness, elegance, a fullness, complexity and delicacy. It reveals notes of boysenberry, bright raspberry and more slightly juicy / fleshy damask plum associated with touches of plum blossom, fleshy berries as well as hints of vanilla, lilac, cornflower and a discreet hint of toasted almond. The palate is mineral, melodious, elegant and offers delicacy, a certain mastered power, harmony and roundness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy / pulpy blackberry, plum plum and more slightly pulpy red berries associated with touches of violet, lilac, rose as well as hints of tonka bean, toasted, of cardamom, with a subtle hint of vanilla and toast, gourmandize and savory flavor at the end of the palate. The tannins are smooth and elegant.
