Costeval AOP Coteaux d’Aix-en-Provence 2021

Costeval AOP Coteaux d’Aix-en-Provence 2021

Pretty bright and limpid wine with a pale pink gold color with pink reflections. The first nose is discreet with notes of pomelo and lemon. The citrus fruits appear little by little accompanied by apricot. With air, the wine opens up and allows the pretty fruits to express themselves: apricot, peach, nectarine with a touch of cream and vanilla. The attack is frank on the fruit. We feel the apricot and the yellow peach accompanied by a hint of cream. The mid-palate gives way to citrus fruits with lemon blossom but also kumquat and juicy pomelo. There is a nice acidity which gives a nice balance. The finish is saline and mineral. Not very long, it allows the texture of the wine, dry, to continue. Nice success.
