Clos Marsalette Blanc 2021 – Pessac-Léognan

Clos Marsalette Blanc 2021 – Pessac-Léognan

The nose is elegant, gourmet and reveals a nice definition, a certain gourmandize. There are notes of sweet/ripe grapefruit, pulpy/fresh vine peach and, more slightly, crisp/fresh apple, combined with fine touches of quince, exotic fruits, a discreet hint of pepper/gunflint and an imperceptible hint of saltiness. The palate is fruity and offers smoothness, acidity, minerality, good definition and fine tension. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy apple, white nectarine and, more slightly, fresh lychee, combined with fine hints of fresh/juicy quince, as well as fine hints of passion fruit, an imperceptible hint of verbena and apricot (in the background). Good length. Fine salinity on the finish.
