Clos Grangeneuve 2022 – Pomerol

Clos Grangeneuve 2022 – Pomerol

The nose is fruity and offers aromas of fruit flesh and some spices. It expresses notes of fresh blond tobacco, fairly ripe cherry and more slightly – star anise, associated with touches of small crushed black fruits as well as hints of sweet blond tobacco. The palate is fruity, and offers minerality, juiciness, freshness, tension, precision, a mineral/tangy framework. It expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, violet, and more slightly – fresh/tart blue plum, associated with touches of small, bright red fruits as well as hints of blond tobacco and nutmeg and a discreet hint of camphor in the background. Good job on the bitters.
