Château Puygueraud 2022 – Francs Côtes de Bordeaux

Château Puygueraud 2022 – Francs Côtes de Bordeaux

The nose is pretty, delicious with a certain intensity, richness and a pleasant fleshy side of the fruit. We perceive notes of fleshy blackcurrant, roasted cherries and more slightly fleshy raspberries associated with fine touches of fresh spices, lily and pepper. The palate is fruity with freshness and minerality. It has a tangy frame with tension, accuracy and good definition. We have notes of juicy and pulpy blackberries, fleshy crushed cherries and more lightly small blue fruits associated with touches of crushed redcurrants as well as fine hints of toast, toasted hazelnuts and a subtle mineral or even saline hint coming from limestone. The chewiness is subtle on the persistent finish, there is good length and tension.
