Château Plince 2020 – Pomerol

Château Plince 2020 – Pomerol

On the nose is aromatic, racy and offers power, a certain concentration with excellence, depth as well as a nice aromatic palette. Notes of pulpy blackberry, creamy cassis and slightly crushed wild strawberry associated with touches of violet, lily, chocolate, fresh/ripe small blue fruits, fresh vanilla as well as a discreet hint of star anise, a subtle hint of pepper and an imperceptible almost minty finish. On the mouth it is fruity and it offers freshness, minerality, a nice definition, gourmandize, a little tension, a certain intensity, precision, minerality, a linear side, energy as well as a discreet tightness in its richness. The wine express notes of fleshy blackberry, bright black cassis and slightly crushed raspberry combined with hints of lilac, Bourbon vanilla as well as fine hints of chocolate, a discreet hint of toasted hazelnut and an imperceptible hint of black tea/bergamot (in the background). The tannins are precise, racy, structuring and polished. Nice persistence.
