Château Plagnac 2022 – Médoc Cru Bourgeois

The nose is pure, fruity and precise. It offers notes of roasted red cherry, wild strawberry, black plum, morello cherry, as well as a fine mineral touch (gravel), roasted meat, dried mint, licorice, as well as refined notes of violet. fresh and a fine hint of basil. On the palate, the wine is supple, juicy and fruity. It expresses the flavors of ripe fruit and roasting notes that are more pronounced than on the nose, but integrated. We find notes of roasted cherry, black plum, blackberry, red cherry and wild strawberry, accompanied by touches of coffee, cloves, cinnamon and dried cornflower, as well as a hint of creamy blackcurrant and cinnamon in the background. Mid-palate is full and round, tasty, with a pleasant acidity. The tannins are fine, powdery and well-built.
