Château de Meursault 2020 – Beaune-Fèves Premier Cru

Château de Meursault 2020 – Beaune-Fèves Premier Cru

The wine has a ruby color, moderately deep. The wine is aromatic, gourmand and expresses spiciness and notes of torrefaction at first nose. We find in particular the aromas of roasted meat (even with a very subtle touch of smoked meat), which then evolve towards the spicy notes of cumin, grated nutmeg, cloves, liquorice, as well as roasting notes. (toasted, coffee). There is also a beautiful fruitiness (ripe wild strawberry, red cherry, a touch of blackcurrant, raspberry, red currant) and an elegant floral bouquet (cornflower, lily). On the palate, the wine offers fluidity (in a good way), juiciness and elegance. It expresses the flavors of juicy and gourland red fruits on the attack (red cherry, crunchy strawberry, raspberry, red plum, red currant) and tasty notes of smoke, roasted meat and roasted bouquet garni in the middle and finish. We also find notes of ground cumin, black pepper, toast, cloves, cornflower and lily with a fine sweet touch of vanilla (in the background). The tannins are delicate and melted. The finish offers a slighty sweet touch of crushed strawberries, accompanied by good acidity. A silky and delicate wine.
