The nose is elegant, aromatic, fruity, racy and offers a fine richness, a beautiful finesse of the grain, a fine power and complexity. It reveals notes of fleshy blackberry, fleshy strawberry and small notes of liquorice associated with small touches of cassis, chocolate as well as discreet hints of vanilla Bourbon, spices and an imperceptible touch of pepper. The palate is fruity, mineral, well-balanced and offers a good mineral frame, tension, a beautiful aromatic precision, a fine creaminess, gourmandise, a beautiful finesse of the grain, a fine juiciness, a beautiful structure, a small freshness, suavity as well a chew. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, fleshy cassis and small notes of crushed raspberry associated with small touches of fleshy Gariguette strawberry, hints of chocolate, toasted hints, sticks of liquorice as well as a discreet hint of Bourbon vanilla and tea. Tannins are elegant. Good length. There is a very discreet hint of hazelnut / almond on the finish. There is a very discreet hint of tonka bean on the persistence.
