Camille de Labrie – Chardonnay 2020, Vin de France

Camille de Labrie – Chardonnay 2020, Vin de France

On the nose, fruity and offers good definition, a nice fine grain and an airy side. It reveals notes of pulpy vine peach, lychee and more lightly tangerine blossom associated with fine touches of Quenette as well as discrete floral tips and an imperceptible hint of carambola. On the palate, fruity, elegant and offers roundness, a nice finesse of fat, unctuousness, airy character, gourmandized and a tangy frame. The wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy apple, juicy lychee and more slightly Quenette associated with touches of juicy citrus as well as hints of exotic fruit and a subtle hint of minerality (sand, limestone) in the background. Good length. A very fine sapidity as well as an imperceptible varietal touch on the finish/persistence.
