Augier – VSOP – Le Sauvage – Cognac – Cru Petite Champagne

Augier – VSOP – Le Sauvage – Cognac – Cru Petite Champagne

The nose is fruity, gourmand, fat, a bit incisive and relatively powerful. It reveals notes of orange zest, nuts and fine notes of citrus (lemon, quince) combined with touches of spices, Sichuan pepper and a hint of flint. The palate is fruity, gourmande, round, well-balanced, elegant, relatively fat and offers a good volume as well as a nice and fleshy matter. In the mouth this Cognac expresses notes of quince, pear in syrup and nuts (walnuts, almonds) associated with fine notes of candied citrus, a discreet touch of orange zests as well as fine touches of rancio, caramel and oak. Good length.
