This Icewine is barrel fermented and aged in French oak barrels for 2 months for added depth of complexity. An elegant icewine with flavors of orchard fruit lemon drops, pears, apricot jam, peach and acacia honey. The palate is intense with a syrupy texture and bold richness. It’s definitely for the advised sweet wines drinkers.

This wine has a lovely light garnet hue and displays nuances of strawberry coulis, rhubarb, vanilla, baking spices and brown sugar. The palate is intense in sweetness, coating and intense. There’s a slight astringency on the finish that brightens it.

The delicate aromas of apricot and lychee compliment a dominant floral note of wildflower and honey. The palate mirrors the nose, with just an addition of butterscotch and integrated texture. It’s a sweet and simple icewine, with interesting aromatic profile, with adequate acidity and an abrupt finish.

Gewürztraminer is quite unusual for the production of icewine, but it makes sense as it is a great varietal for sweet wine production. Malivore has done a great job of getting the right sweetness along with honey, peach, ginger and candied lemon peel. It’s rich and intensely aromatic with a bright and lively palate. Nothing…

Herbert Konzelmann has been making wine in Niagara since the 1980s, and Icewine is one of his specialties. Very deep golden, this one is luscious, sweet and bright with ripe apricots, peaches, papaya, honey and light savory flavors on the palate. The sweetness is rich and plump with a dense finish.

This Riesling Icewine is perfumed and citrus-forward with some hints of melon, ripe pears, apricot jam and peach. It’s quite delicate, balanced and simple with honeyed sweetness and a tart acidity. It has a great spine, and a mineral, clean finish.

Made from estate-grown grapes harvested from Henry of Pelham’s own Short Hills Bench vineyards from a blend of Vidal and Cabernet Franc, this is an interesting mix of vibrancy and fruitiness. Cherry and raspberry aromas are combined to spices and bright tangerine juice. It has a good intensity of flavors and heavy palate.
