Finely restored, the structure is an example of military gothic architecture at the entrance of Monferrato terroir. Rocca di Arignano holds a few luxury rooms, and many areas addressed to corporate meetings, courses and events, framing the inn in which to appreciate a cuisine inspired by the Middle Ages; the leathery taste is decisive and set on Piedmontese and km0 raw materials taken from a proper garden or local suppliers.
The young Lorenzo Careggio manages the cuisine buttressed by Ugo Alciati’s advice, chef of Guido Ristorante 1* Michelin. Poché egg with topinam- bur cream and Rocca tuna with cooked and raw herb salads deserve the mentions. The wine list ranges from a small but curious selection of French and Langhe wines to a more detailed and complex survey of wines produced in the appellations set up around the cities of Turin and Asti.
