This is the second vintage of Chardonnay icewine produced by Tawse, the first being in 2008. It’s been aged for 12 months in 100% new large oak barrels. The result is a rich and unusual icewine with notes of vanilla, apple pie, apricot, honey, beeswax and apparent oak. It’s highly aromatic with a vibrant acidity as well as a waxy finish.
