Domaine Louis Magnin, Cuvée «Grande Orgue» 2018 – Chignin Bergeron

Domaine Louis Magnin, Cuvée «Grande Orgue» 2018 – Chignin Bergeron

The wine has a golden color of medium to deep intensity. The nose is complex, elegant, with pleasant and enveloped tertiary notes. It expresses notes of dried lemon peel, candied lemon, freshgreen apple, apricot, white peach, candied quince, freshly grated lemon zest, as well as aromas of hayand white flowers (acacia, dried lime, white lily), a spicy touch (saffron, nutmeg), as well as a touch of lemon yogurt and toasted brioche. The palate is rich, even a little sweet, savoury and complex, while remaining elegant. We find the fragrant floral bouquet (acacia, dried lime, chamomile infusion), a touch of hay, beeswax and honey, a fine spiciness (saffron, nutmeg), as well as fruity flavors (ripe apricot), white peach, candied lemon, roasted green apple, candied quince, combined with the freshness of lemon zest and grapefruit). The finish is long, with a good noticeable, but pleasant bitterness (candied lime and grapefruit), as well as a touch of honey in the background, everything is balanced by a lively acidity. Beautiful complexity, depth and harmony.
