The nose is concentrated, intense and smoky with savoury notes of spices, dried herbs, a touch of salty butter and lees, ripe pineapples, lemons and kumquats. The palate is dense and powerful with a lot of salinity and structure. The wine reveals notes of bay leaf, dill, fennel, celery salt and a touch of animalistic flavours. Very particular style, savoury and herbal. The finish is lingering with salinity and umami.
