Vincent Stoeffler – Gewurztraminer 2015 – Alsace Grand Cru, Kirchberg de Barr

The nose is aromatic, slightly powerful and offers a fine intensity. It reveals notes of yellow peach, candied pineapple and small notes of crystallized lemon associated with touches of quenette, pear and fine touches of citrus (quince, kumquat), flowers as well as a discreet hint of spices and an imperceptible touch of white pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, well-built, silkiness, suave and offers a good definition, a fine juiciness, minerality, a fine acid frame, gourmandise, a fine freshness as well as a slight aerial side. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crystallized lemon, crushed peach and passion fruit associated with small touches of quenette, kumquat, apricot, minerality as well as a very discreet hint of flowers. Good length.
