The nose is fruity and offers a fine minerality as well as a certain precision. It reveals notes of pulpy/fresh blackcurrant, blackberry and small notes of fresh violet associated with a touch of lilac as well as slight hints of quite ripe small fruits, licorice stick and a very discreet hint of cardamom. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, discreetly tight, tense and offers freshness, minerality, a fine creaminess. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of creamy blackcurrant, small fairly ripe black berries and small notes of violet, lilac associated with a touch of pulpy/fresh violet plum, with fine hints of liquorice stick, star anise as well as with a subtle hint of cardamom and toasted almond. Tannins are supple.
