The nose opens with a savoury spiciness, but all in elegance (we first smell the aromas of liquorice, nutmeg and vanilla in the background). Then, the nose expresses the notes of fresh and dried Mediterranean herbs (fresh sage, fresh thyme, dried bouquet garni) and ripe fruits (morello cherry, black plum, wild strawberry, raspberry coulis), as well as mint and chocolate. The palate offers more black fruits (blackcurrant, blueberry, morello cherry), associated with notes of strawberry, crushed raspberry and red cherry, fresh bouquet garni, basil in the background, chocolate and balsamic cream especially on the persistence. The tannins are firm, a little catchy, but savory. Good length, freshness, but the wine is closed at the moment.
