The nose is fruity, gourmand, slightly powerful and offers a slight intensity as well as a beautiful fruit. It reveals notes of blueberry, black cherry and crushed cassis combined with touches of wild strawberry as well as hints of redcurrant jam, subtle hints of liquorice, chocolate as well as an imperceptible touch of gray pepper and vanilla. The palate is fruity, mineral, well-balanced, fine and offers a slight fat, a small suavity as well as a slight acid frame. On the palate this Porto expresses notes of fleshy / crushed blueberry, jammy cassis and crushed redcurrants combined with slight touches of black cherry, plum, chocolate, violet, cedar wood as well as very discreet hints of sweet spices. There are an imperceptible touch of almond and an imperceptible touch of dried red cherry on the finish.
