Olivier Foucher 2022 – Menetou-Salon

Olivier Foucher 2022 – Menetou-Salon

The wine has a pale lemon-yellow color with green reflections. The nose is lively, tangy and herbaceous. It expresses notes of boxwood, cut grass, a vegetal touch (green bean) in the background, as well as notes of citrus fruits (yellow lemon, lemon zest, lime), gooseberries, as well as a mineral touch (flint). On the palate, the wine is chiseled, and precise, with a salivating acidity, energy and roundness. It expresses notes of lemon, lime zest, green apple, cut grass, lemon juice, as well as a mineral touch in the background. On the finish, the wine offers good persistence, a certain roundness and tangy notes of ripe citrus fruits, as well as a hint of bitterness (grapefruit zest). A fresh and straightforward wine.
