Nardone 2013 – Taurasi DOCG

The nose is fruity, racy and offers a small deepness, a certain power as well as intensity. It reveals notes of bright wild blackberry, crushed black plum, small notes of small pulpy fruits (blueberry) associated with a fine touch of candied strawberry, violet flowers, sense of the place (local biotope), discreet hints of dry tobacco, tonka bean, an imperceptible hint of pepper, chamomile and rosemary (in the background). The palate is fruity and offers minerality, a fine intensity, harmony, gourmandize as well as a fine acidulous frame, a small freshness, juiciness, a fine suavity and a fine grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of bright wild blackberry, pulpy cassis, small notes of pulpy/juicy black plum associated with a fine touch of black cherry, strawberry jam as well as fine hints of toasted, chocolate, patisseries, a discreet hint of tobacco and zan. Good length. Tannins are well-built.
