Marrone – Memundis 2016, Chardonnay – Langhe

The nose is fruity, aromatic and offers power, a small richness as well as a good guideline. It reveals notes of pear, fleshy/juicy Mirabelle and small notes of William pear associated with hints of honey, butter, toasted almond and a discreet hint of spices. The palate is fruity, mineral, fresh, well-balanced and offers a juicy/acidulous frame, gourmandize as well as fat. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy pear, fleshy/crushed Mirabelle plum as well as small notes of butter associated with fine touches of juicy/ripe lemon, quenette as well as hints of fleshy/juicy kumquat and very fine hints of almond. Good length.
