The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The nose offers gourmandise, a certain concentration and a fine spiciness. It expresses notes of morello cherry, wild strawberry, raspberry coulis, redcurrant jelly, a touch of black plum and blackcurrant, as well as light notes of licorice, white pepper, dried mint and cornflower. The palate is straight, tangy and fresh. It expresses notes of red cherry, raspberry, fresh strawberry, red plum, blackcurrant and morello cherry, combined with delicate notes of licorice, cornflower and dried mint. The tannins are fine and enveloped. Beautiful crunchy acidity and a fresh and gourmand finish, with a smoky hint in the background. A savoury and pleasant wine.
